Balancing Chaos with Order in September

Storms Rage as Order is Demanded From Chaos.
Just like August, September is ushered in by a New Moon and this time in the sign
of Virgo. Virgo is where preparedness, service, labor, health, and practicality are stressed. Dominating the news is the efforts to prepare for a catastrophic hurricane dubbed Gustav. Déjà Vu seems to have gripped our conscious minds as we harken back August 2005 with Katrina. Gustav (meaning staff of the Goths - an Germanic tribe who vexed the late Roman Empire) is on path to create havoc first in Cuba and then land between Mobile, AL and Houston, TX. Gustav will soon grow into a Cat 5 storm with winds increasing by the minute to 150+ mph. The distinct memory of Katrina (2005) is forcing evacuations for millions in New Orleans and the Gulf. A difficult Mars-Libra square to Jupiter is demanding cooperation from many residents who may end up in FEMA interment. Gustav is expected to make landfall early AM Sept.2nd as S Node (Leo) Chiron (Aquarius) Vesta (Taurus) are locked in a close TSQ On Sept. 2nd Sun-Saturn are applying to an exact conjunction where despite delays and obstacles, patience and organization are favored. Also both Mercury-Venus-Moon and Mars are all in Libra together on Sept.2nd when Gustav is to make landfall. As the literal and figurative storms approach, major efforts to balance opposing forces are in motion. Virgo can be both the sign of analysis and synthesis always making an effort to create order out of chaos.
Galactic Underworld Reconciles Left and Right Brain.
September will be month of balancing natural disasters along with man made efforts at destruction (Pluto turns stationary direct on Sept. 8th). The desire to loosen the grips of authoritarian rule is present as the US Election occur on the same day as the historic Saturn-Uranus opposition (Nov.4th) Questions will arise from the American population whether the price of "order" entails a handing over of control and loss of freedom! The last time Saturn-Uranus were in opposition was 1965-67. Back in the mid-sixties
real change happened on many levels. In the mid-sixties the flowering of culture brought in the women's movement, the ecology movement, respect for indigenous cultures and New Age beliefs. In The Mayan Calendar: Transformation of Consciousness , author Carl Johan Calleman tells how we as a collective are under the influence of the Fourth World. Our current phase of the Mayan cycles, the Galactic Underworld (1999 to 2011) has the Fourth World starting on August 15, 2008 near last lunar eclipse. Calleman on page 171 refers to the preceding Planetary Underworld (1755 to 2011) and 1947 when the last Fourth World began and matured in 1967-68. He says "in the West… strengthened a way of being based on the intuitive brain hemisphere." In other words in this Mayan time period known as the Galactic Underworld we have begun a time when the right brain will began to overtake and balance with the left brain.
During the August eclipses, powerful oppositions and squares (Mars-Uranus and Mars-Pluto) marked seemingly staged events from the Georgia/Russia fiasco to the Chinese Olympics. At the Olympics the Chinese government made sure that all evidence of discontent via Tibetan protest was removed. A Mars SQ Pluto aspect on the day of the August 16th Lunar eclipse, the US puppet dictator President Musharraf resigned before impeachment proceedings. The lunations in September will be used to process the preceding eclipses. Many in the US, are quickly removing their blindfolds placed via previous cycles in history. Those dark glasses symbolized by the cult of personality (Leo oriented) are being removed.
Virgo, Female deities and Slow Food
Virgo is much more down to earth albeit critical then Leo and is represented by the only female figure in the zodiac. Virgo has been associated with most of the main female deities: Ishtar, Innana, Aphrodite, Ceres/Demeter, Astraea, Isis; and , the Virgin Mary. The New Moon on August 30th has Spica - culminating at the Mid-heaven, offering gifts and great talents. A graphic symbolic representation depicts Virgo as a winged maiden holding a palm branch in her left hand and an ear of corn in her right (Ceres). The palm branch is an ancient symbol of peace and rejoicing.. The ear of corn held in the right hand clearly links the constellation Virgo'sbrightest star in the Spica and the agricultural harvest. The largest celebration of the Slow Food movement is on August 30th in San Francisco. Taken from their website www.slowfood.com "Slow Food is a non-profit, eco-gastronomic member-supported organization founded in 1989 to counteract fast food and fast life, the disappearance of local food traditions. "
The Virgo New Moon Transformation and New Forms of Healing
Pluto sits right on the Ascendant of the New Moon set for 3:58 PM in Washington DC.
near the Galactic Center and screaming for change. Evidently this change will be the result of some destructive force before we can rebuild. Venus which has just started a transit in Libra is separating from a potent square to Pluto. This brings in vibrations of goddess energies. Symbolically the more conservative candidate, McCain has made history by picking a woman to run with him as a prospective VP. This woman Sarah Heath Palin (born Feb. 11, 1964) has an almost exact Chiron-Pluto opposition from Pisces to Virgo. This is connected to divination, channeling, and atavistic traits that reappear after disappearing generations ago. Mr. John Sidney McCain III (born Aug. 29, 1936) might be in for some major surprises with Sarah. McCain's natal Venus at 22 Virgo near the US Chart's idealistic Neptune is currently opposed by transiting Uranus in Pisces retrograde.
New Moon in Virgo Continued…
The Heliacal Rising Star is Alphard - the Water Serpent, According Ebertin-Hoffmann in Fixed Stars page 50: "Alphard is of a Saturnian nature with a measure of influence from Venus and Neptune." Alphard is definitely a malefic influence and Ebertin-Hoffman goes on to say that it maybe connected to poison - blood poisoning or murder by poison. Virgo's connection to the sixth house, service and healing will be of utmost importance during September. Another sign of the activated need to heal and add care to so many who are suffering is that the Moon will be Culminating when the fixed star Ras Algethi is Rising
The August 30th lunation is also a deep stabilizing influence. This influence involves
more than mutable earthy Virgo and has a Grand Trine that encompasses Cardinal Jupiter (now VOC) and Vesta (focus) in fixed Taurus.
Mercury (ruler of Virgo) is almost exactly sesiquadrate Chiron (co ruled by Virgo).
This combination has a catalyzing effect on healing along with a mutual reception With Venus newly arrived in Libra, on this day we have another sesquiquadrate to Chiron.
Sun-Moon-Saturn brings deep processing to new shifts from allopathic to more intuitive forms of healing. Finally a powerful Thors Hammer aspect plays out in both this New Moon as the Full Moon on September 15th. In case you forgot, a Thors Hammer aspect pattern is formed from two planets (Venus-Chiron) each sesquisquare (135 degrees) and to a third planet, The base two planets are square to each other (Vesta-Chiron) The myth, implies a special gift for survival which is quite appropriate in light of the tempests passing thru the Gulf Coast. This is also time when many doctors can't stand the allopathic medicine for-profit medical system which may be on the brink of collapse.
By September 8th, Jupiter in Capricorn has stationed direct and is in an exact trine to Saturn. can lead to better judgment and the passage of laws or agreements favorable to both the economy and the courts. .Before the next full moon a lot is happening: on September 9th, Venus will square Jupiter which could mean extreme shifts in consumer and market sentiment. Then on September 11th, Venus and Mars will be conjunct Libra as leaders and groups make concerted efforts to cooperate with each other and we are all passionate about justice.
Full Moon on September 15th. The Alchemy of Synthesis
On September 15th @ 5:13 AM EDT a Full Moon occurs at 22 Pisces 54
is the degree of the materializing medium. The Sabian Symbol for 23 Pisces per Martin Goldsmith on page 353 of The Zodiac by Degrees "The wife of a fallen general springing up from his body, delivers a stirring speech to his comrades and then leads them into battle." This is not only about causes that survive death but a total re-education process where a misguided public are goaded into taking that giant step, or evolutionary leap. I indicated earlier that this leap forward would involve the balancing of the currently dominant left-brain with the incoming right brain representing a kind of intuitive medium ship.
Alchemy was known as the spagyric art after Greek words meaning to separate and to join together. Compare this with the primary dictum of Alchemy in Latin: SOLVE ET COAGULA — Separate, and Join Together. Isis of Egyptian myth relates well to the alchemical Virgo. Isis found the pieces of her dismembered husband Osiris and she was able to find and put together 12 of the 13 parts, The Virgo-Pisces axis is accented in the full moon chart (Virgo rising) as Sun-Saturn sit in the first and Moon-Uranus in the 7th at angles of receptivity. In esoteric astrology, the moon is the ruler of Virgo and being close to Uranus in this chart puts an emphasis on the collective freeing itself from the victim mentality and embracing the unconscious mind.
Virgo is associated with digestion, the intestines and related to the process of distillation. Liz Greene in her book Saturn – A New Look at an Old Devil on page 42:
What we have always believed to be physical illness now appears to be originated from an entirely different level. We have only recently become aware of the concept of the unconscious mind, and prior to the birth of psychology in this century – accelerated by the discovery of Pluto – it was left to the medieval alchemists to make discovery some sense of man’s fantasies and dreams… Inspired by the Mars-Mercury-Venus stellium in Libra now trine Chiron-N Node and Neptune in Aquarius, we are taking up the baton of the alchemists and bringing about this synthesis on many levels. Singularly important from an alchemical mundane perspective is that this Full Moon/Uranus relates to the US Chart. This aspect makes a TSQ with the US Chart's destructive Neptune SQ Mars in Gemini. This historic aspect has been a motivator for empire building via warfare for over two hundred years since 1812.
Fall Equinox a Catalyst toward Balance
The Sun will ingress into Libra on September 22nd marking the Mabon
or Fall Equinox, when, the length of night time is equal to the length of daytime. The Equinox chart set for 11:45 AM EDT when Sun enters Libra has multiple aspects of power.
There are 8 variations and separate TSQ's indicating massive change going forward. One of the tightest of these TSQ's is the applying opposition of Saturn-Uranus to Juno in Sagittarius pushing the limits to freedom and the rigid beliefs of religious fanaticism.
Positive Grand Trines in both Air and Earth indicate a huge change toward developing a more peaceful orientation. I am not saying it is going to be easy but a progressed chart for the Sibley US Chart (7-4-1776) to the Fall Equinox has Mars at 18 Libra retrograde.
Mars progressed is in close trine to N Node-Chiron transiting in Aquarius which portends the eventual decline of the wartime state. Finally a Grand Cross involving the usual mutable suspects: Saturn-Uranus and the asteroids Juno-Pallas should bring about a dizzying escalation of words (Pallas Gemini) and deeds (Juno-Sagittarius). This will define the limits of authority vs. freedom-revolution. Mercury in Libra stations retrograde on Wednesday September 24th at 23 Libra and then finally moves direct on Oct. 15th at 7 Libra adding emphasis to the drive for balance, justice and peace.
By the time the September 29th New Moon arrives at 6 Libra 33 at 4:12 AM EDT a shift will have begun. The Sabian Symbol for 7 Libra per Dr. Jones "A woman feeding chickens and protecting them from hawks." is about exposing evil and injustice. More of the world's population will be on guard for staged events like false flag terrorism. Instead of trumped up battles the use of diplomacy and negotiation will be favored.
