On January 12th, almost two years to the day - January 10, 2000, when AOL and Time Warner(the world's largest media conglomerate) announced their history-making merger, Steve Case their CEO resigned.
Steve Case was born with Sun in Leo (sign of the natural leader). Steve who co-founded AOL was the online visionary and architect of the biggest media merger in history. In Steve’s Natal Chart there are many powerful aspects like a Sun, Mercury, Pluto conjunction which is also in close orb to Juno (which governs relationships).
These astrological placement gives Case the innate ability to form alliances with compatible enterprises, essentially seeing potential that others may have missed. The Sun/Mercury/Pluto grouping brings him really powerful business insights with a need to control the outcome.

Mars is the the courage and ability to act decisively. Note that in Case’s Natal Chart he has Mars in Taurus (financial success and perseverance) square Uranus in Leo (grandstand plays) which intesifies his risk taking.
This weekend Case silenced his critics by risking his leadership at AOL and possibly the future of Time Warner. Also note that Chiron the wounded healer adds a third leg to this energy pattern and is in opposition to Uranus creating a T Square. A Chiron opposition to Uranus is said to create ferocious intensity which either burns the native out or pushes him or her to great transmutational levels.

One thing is for sure Steve Case not only shocked the general public
but sent shock waves thru the AOL Time Warner Empire.
In fact on Monday, one day after Case resigned, CNN's Chairman and Chief Executive Walter Isaacson stepped down from his post at the pioneering cable news network. Many are speculating that an AOL Spin-Off seems likely. By the time Jupiter moves into Virgo and begans to transit Steve’s powerful Mercury/Pluto conjunction in September 2003, we may even see a new chapter written by the creator of the world's largest media company!

This weekend the Uranus/Mars square produced another shocker: This time it was a transcendent act of compassion .
Gov. George Ryan of Illinois announced Saturday he had commuted the sentences of all of the state's death row inmates after pardoning four others the day before.
Yes, just a day before the exact Uranus/Mars square, Ryan was riding this harbinger of the unexpected and rendering justice with one fell swoop!
When we look at George H Ryan’s Natal Chart, we not only see that he has Sun in the empathetic sign of Pisces
but that there is triple Piscean conjunction with the asteroid Pallas at 18 degrees sandwiched between Mercury at 20 and Mars at 16.

Yes on Saturday January 12th, Ryan commuted the sentences of all 167 condemned inmates -- most to life in prison without parole -- saying he felt a moral obligation to act because the system is "haunted by the demon of error."
With the advent of Uranus moving into Pisces this March 11th,
