Wesak Moon for 2003 Both a Total Lunar Eclipse and a Full Moon at 25 Scorpio at 8:36PM PDT set for May 15th, 2003
The Primary Astronomical Event
The partial lunar eclipse will start at 10:03 p.m. ET as the Earth blocks sunlight from the moon, gradually sliding into full eclipse at 11:14 p.m. ET. African and Euro-pean viewers will see the eclipse before or at dawn Friday.
The moon technically begins the eclipse about an hour before the partial eclipse phase, as the moon begins to pass into a region of half-shadow on the Earth's dark side called the penumbra. During the total eclipse, the moon will pass entirely into the full shadow of the Earth, a region called the umbra, from the Latin word for shadow. It leaves it an hour later at 12:06 a.m. ET.

Fixed Stars Algol and Capulus posited on this Lunar Eclipse
Enough dread and fear has been painted into the picture with the prescence the Powerful Fixed Stars Algol and Capulus being positoned on this eclipse at 25° Taurus 28". Before we conjure up images of Armagedon and terror, we should examine all the meainings of these stars. Remember that as Bernadette Brady says in the Book of Fixed Stars: Algol is the power of the feminine or potential power of Mother Nature, not to be called evil for being strong. It is the companion star to Capulus = 23° Taurus 30' also in the constellation of Perseus, the male version of outrage. Perseus decapitated the Gorgon Medusa and from her headless body flew the flying horse Pegasus. This power (like the Scorpio Full Moon) it self is not evil, it is the misuse of that passionate power. After all Albert Einstein had Algol culminating with his Jupiter and Mozart had Mercury rising with his Algol. Yes OJ Simpson had Algol culminating at birth and Hitler had Algol setting as the Sun was on his Nadir.

Ceres and the Sabian Symbols
We are sure to feel the natural intesity of our Mother Earth awakening to set the record straight. Our nurturing of Gaia takes center stage, especially with this eclipse occuring close to Ceres at 25 Taurus. Ceres asks us all to be true stewards of our earthly riches just as were our Native American ancestors. As Ceres was able to let go of her daughter Demeter , we too need to free ourselves from greedy attachments. The era of exploitation and hoarding is over. Best explained by the Sabian Symbol for 25 Taurus :"A vast public park; the cultivation of natural energies for collective use and recreation," We must couple this cultivation with the penetrating wisdom of the Sabian Symbol for 25 Scorpio: "AN X-RAY PHOTOGRAPH. Now is the time to open up the halls of ancient wisdom (the occult knowledge hoarded by secret societies like the Illuminati). This is truly a call to create a paradise here on earth!
