On Wednesday December 20th 2006 we are treated to the start of an intensely active cycle with a new moon in Sagittarius. Most residents of planet earth will only have a vague notion that new something is happening much less any kind of Realm of light as Jim Morrison speaks. Like most Americans, other inhabitants of this incredible sphere of life will ber fraught with distractions. Instead of reaching for the vaults of heaven or going beyond the empyrean, we will follow the arrows on our own egoic quests. This lunation is similar to last month's new moon in Scorpio on November 20th. which marked the end of darker cycle with and exact conjunction to Jupiter. November's event was an intense, scintillating, and meaningful moment in time and this Sagittarian lunation will set in motion bright hope for a new era. Unquestionally it is all about the symbolic archer who always shoots his target arrow before embarking on the journey. With new permutations coming to the core of reality, 3D is starting to morph into other realities. This time our nation and world is on a continual journey to the heart of our galaxy expanding horizons forever. This lunation has not only Sun-Moon in fiery Sagittarius but also Jupiter-Mars-Mercury and Pluto. Plus at 28° 32' Sagittarius we have the "lights" close to Pluto 26°32' just 23' away from the Galactic Center or heart of our Milky Way System. Pluto always presages an element of transformation by discarding the old and woren out for the newer modality of consciousness and living. By 8:39AM PST or 11:39AM EST on 12-20, when moon enters Capricorn to make way for the Solstice next day, we will began to see it is about taking this unlimited optimism into practical, down to earth projects.

The Sagittarian stellium will not rest until the truth surfaces amid flames and bold shouting. With Jupiter expanding the element of fire and in this case mutable fire, we better expect some serious conflagrations as out dated institutions go up in smoke and explosiions. Having Pluto so close to Sun and Moon along with GC will of course mean a few volcanoes blowing their stacks but the intrinsic meanings are far more penetrating. With the democrats taking over the house and senate and not offering a true path to change expect the people to mow them down. With the Bush dynasty still trying to bring more troops into Iraq - New Moon Mars crossing ascendant of US Sibley Chart, expect a resurgence in anti-war sentiment.

Our new moon chart has seven planets in southern declination, so not only Sun-Moon are there but also Mercury-Venus-Mars-Jupiter-Uranus-Neptune and Pluto stacked up on one side. The heliacal setting star is El Nath from the constellation Taurus and is known as the tip of the horn from "the horns of the bull". Other stars to note: Acumen is culminating with the Sun (arising and lying hidden - which gives a fatalistic approach) to represent personal attacks on one's credibility. Aldebran, also from the constellation Taurus, is culminating with Mars - Aldebran like Antares is one of the great stars in the sky. Aldebran can also assure success from decisive action. A more specific interpretation - Aldebran culminating With Mars: Great military preferment but attended by much danger; liable to accidents, fevers and a violent death. (per Robson).

We may soon see the recall of Aspartame/NutraSweet/Equal, the toxin that is a is a multi-potential carcinogen.
