The first woman on the U.S Supreme Court suddenly stepped down to shock the followers of the Supreme Court and the rest of us.

One glance at Sandra's natal chart (even with time unknown) we see her sense of purpose in independent, assertive 5 Aries conjunct the planet of sudden change Uranus at maverick 10 Aries along with values and senses at Venus 17 Aries. So this stellium of planets has been under the strong transit of fiery/airy Jupiter/Mars oppositon where justice opposes action as jurisprudence becomes a household word since ingress of the Jupiter expansion of laws and beliefs in October 2004. The sides are being drawn even within the conservative camps as each new nominee is trotted out:
even questioning the potential nomination of "torture architect. " Attorney General Alberto Gonzales because they question his antiabortion credentials.

Roe vs Wade the first to go?
Both camps said "they were prepared for a fight, with Republicans demanding an up-or-down vote on Bush's eventual nominee and Democrats holding out the possibility they may mount a filibuster if they can't accept the president's selection."
With Mars moving into a long passage in the sign of Taurus on July 28 to Dec. 9, 2005, this fight will dominate the news. The story who controls the Supreme Court and laws in the US has just begun.
