On September 10th, we as individuals, as a nation and world citizens find ourselves at a crossroads. We are surrounded by mutable aspects, which can tip us to either side. This is a crucial point of choice, in the past six months we have witnessed the ruthless use of force and coercion by our leaders and their enemies. We have been horrified by the fanatical zeal that has sparked wars, suicide bombings and terrorism. In September 2001 Pluto was opposing Saturn in Gemini, In the first house of this DC chart we find Pluto, which has been in direct motion for the last two weeks and has been gathering power from his underground palace in Hades. Pluto always represents the power of destruction and elimination, the power to clean house and bring forth regeneration. A Season of Opposition and Eruption? Our wounding in America's 2nd House of resources widens with Chiron at 12° Capricorn opposing Saturn 11° /Ceres 10° Cancer in the 8th House our Nation's shared resources and tax dollars. . The blatant misappropriation and failure of leadership Iraq will come to light in even greater proportion. Jupiter entering Virgo on August 27, 2003 has put the unemployment picture into the spotlight - a much greater problem for the American people then ego posturing in Iraq. Total nonfarm payroll employment declined by 93,000 in August, and the unemployment rate was essentially unchanged at 6.1 percent - way too high! A footnote to slow economy is the continual rise of the cost of gas. With Neptune, (in Aquarius) the ruling planet of Pisces joining Mars/Uranus in Pisces transiting the third house of the media, oil and petroleum related matters will dominate the news all year!
