Applying Saturn Trine Neptune

No exact aspect with Applying Saturn Trine Pluto but effects are numerous
Under this transit, leaders and ruling parties make necessary changes and adjustments. Taxes may be raised or imposed and scarcities may become apparent. This is a time that calls for restraint and economy. Many will find the endurance and persistence necessary to reach long-range goals.

Applying Uranus Square Pluto won't be exact till 2011 when both planets change signs but tremendous build up toward Cardinal Climax in 2009-2010 with Saturn ingress into Libra. March 29th on the Libra Full Moon we find Asteroid Atlantis @ 1 Cancer 45 is opposing Ceres in Capricorn
This is a time when the forces from the "famed continent" of Atlantis attempt to control much of the day to day process here on earth.

March 29th with a Full Moon in Libra we find Mars conjunct asteroid Apollo @ 3 degrees 06 Leo when the power of the Sun and personal identity took center stage.

February 26th: Vesta @ 27 Leo opposes Neptune in Aquarius - Note that Vesta in Leo is about working in a creative atmosphere but can be hampered by too much pride and arrogance.
Vesta Opp. Neptune can reflect a difusion and confusion over specific committments and focus. This transit can incite too much of an emphasis on self-denial or sacrifice.

February 9th: Astraea opposes Vesta in mutable signs as Justices fights a commited and practical viewpoint.

February 9th: Amor is conjunct both Neptune and Chiron all in Aquarius as love becomes the healer .

January 7th: Asteroid Bacchus is conjunct Pluto @ 3 Capricorn 01
In conjunction with Pluto we will see some destructive and manipulative qualities inherent in the original nature of the Bacchus rituals.
The Roman God Bacchus or Greek Dionysus was the god of wine, the inspirer of ritual madness and ecstasy.
Bacchus is said to preside over the Bacchanalia which in ancient Roman times were held in secret and attended by women only. These ceremonies were held in the grove of Simila, near the Aventine Hill, on March 16 and 17. Subsequently, admission to the rites were extended to men and celebrations took place five times a month. The mystery-cult may have been seen as a threat to the political status quo. The notoriety of these festivals, where many kinds of crimes and political conspiracies were supposed to be planned,
In Greek mythology, Dionysus is made out to be a son of Zeus and Semele; other versions of the myth contend that he is a son of Zeus and Persephone.

Astronomical: The Apollo, Venus- and Mars-crosser asteroid 2063 Bacchus was discovered on April 24, 1977 by Charles T. Kowal at the Palomar Observatory.

Asteroid Watch for November/December 2009

December 10th: Circe (the sorceress) conjunct Venus @ 11 degrees 8 minutes Sagittarius
Circe the enchantress and goddess of magic meets independent Venus in Sagittarius to cast a spell -
Circe's father was Helios (or Helius), the god of the sun and the owner of the land where Odysseus' men ate cattle, and her mother was Perse, an Oceanid.

December 4th: Asteroid Eurydice or Eurydike @ 13 Scorpio is contraparallel Mars which could result in abductions and poisonings.
Note that both Pluto and Mars are rulers of Scorpio..
Eurydice in Greek mythology, was an oak nymph or one of the daughters of Apollo (the god of light). She was the wife of Orpheus.
The myth which deals with Orpheus traveling to the underworld. One day, a satyr saw and pursued her. Eurydice stepped on a snake and fell to the ground. The venomous snake had bitten her, leaving Eurydice dead. Distraught, Orpheus played and sang so mournfully that all the nymphs and gods wept. In their saddened states, they told him to travel to the Underworld and retrieve her.

November 20th: A confusing Vesta contraparallel Neptune can be confusing with lots of misperceptions. Be careful not to focus on self-denial and self-sacrifice.

November 16th: Today's Scorpio New Moon has asteroid Hygeia dealing with all health matters now closely opposing Chiron (the wounded healer).

Asteroid Watch for October 2009

October 30th: Pandora continues to track with Chiron which moves direct today @ 10:45:52 PM PDT. as issues around the H1N1 flu are about to explode. Besides all the horrific demons in the box coming out, we will began to see some hope in this area.

October 15th: Asteroid Diana 78 @ 23 Aquarius 53 is conjunct Neptune adding an element of ritual and also confusion.
Today there is a branch of Wicca named for Diana, which is characterized by an exclusive focus on the feminine aspect of the Divine
In some Wiccan texts Lucifer is a name used interchangeably (in the story lines) for Diana's brother/husband Apollo.
Interestingly enough, Apollo @ 19 Leo 32 is also conjunct Vesta (asteroid of focus, commitment and sexuality) we should expect some

September 24th: Asteroid Hopi @ 28 Cancer is conjunct S Node in Cancer and opposes N Node in Capricorn putting emphasis on the ancient Hopi Prophecy.

Sept. 11th: Diana @ 27 Aquarius Retro. and Persephone @ 28 Aquarius Retro. are moving close together and putting emphasis on underworld secrets being revealed.
Diana as the wise woman and healer meeting with the darker Persephone, known as the dreaded queen of the Underworld, whose very name it was forbidden to speak.

Asteroid Watch for August 2009

August 30th: Pandora now Retrograde @ 22 degrees 21 minutes of Aquarius is tracking close to Chiron also Retrograde @ 22 degrees 58 minutes Aquarius
With Pandora ("giver of all, all-endowed") near the wounded healer there may be twist to her opening that fated box and releasing only ill unto the world.
In many was the current health-care reform debate has elements of humankind needing some form of "non-profit " healing/health for all but the powers that be need to control this boon.
Remember that Pandora was married to Prometheus, who brought us humans the gift of fire to be used for both positive and negative actions. In fact after we humans received the stolen gift of fire from Prometheus, an angry Zeus decides to give men a punishing gift to compensate for the boon they had been given.
Perhaps the jar jar may have at one point contained only good things for mankind.

August 10th is a busy day with both Diana and Persephone opposing Pallas in Virgo.
Pallas Athene is the Warrior Goddess and protectress of the state who helped Perseus slay Medusa and corresponds to political strategies.
Asteroid Diana 78 is the Roman goddess of the hunt and will with this opposition trying to target andy dissenters.
Diana was worshiped at a festival on August 13, when King Servius Tullius, himself born a slave, dedicated her shrine on the Aventine Hill in the mid-sixth century BC.

With Persephone opposing Pallas we should be on guard . The myth of abduction by Pluto (lord of the underworld) could create a darker strategy around political agendas.
Persephone was also known as the dreaded queen of the Underworld, whose very name it was forbidden to speak.
Before Persephone was released to Hermes, who had been sent to retrieve her, Hades tricked her into eating pomegranate seeds, (seven, eight, or perhaps four according to the telling) which forced her to return to the underworld for a season each year.

July 29th: Powerful oppositions with Asteroid Lilith @ 29 degrees Cancer in exact opposition to Astraea @ 29 degrees Capricorn and also in oppositon to the N Node @ 00 degrees Aquarius. These oppositions indicate dangerous, evil and violent aspects involving mothers and children/babies.

July 21st: Lots of asteroid aspects today right before the Solar Eclipse :
Pallas in Leo opposes Jupiter/Chiron as political drama and even comic theater demonstrates a battle between ambtion/achievment and ethics/morals
Asteroid Astraea (Justice) conjuncts the N Node and opposes the S Node driving events toward societal equity and correction.
Asteroid Urania 30 conjuncts Saturn in Virgo puts a serious emphasis on predictions along with interest in astronomical and astrological phenomena.

July 5th: Asteroid Nemesis 128 is conjunct Venus now in Gemini and also Contraparallel Pluto in Capricorn Retrograde.

Nemesis is important for various reasons: 128 Nemesis is a very large and very dark main belt asteroid, of carbonaceous composition. It rotates rather slowly, taking about one and half Earth days to complete one revolution. Nemesis is the largest member of the Nemesian asteroid family bearing its name.

Nemeis was the spirit of divine punishment against those who succumb to hubris, vengeful fate personified as a remorseless goddess. The name Nemesis is related to a Greek word , meaning "to give what is due"

In the Greek tragedies Nemesis appears chiefly as the avenger of crime and the punisher of hubris, and as such is akin to Ate and the Erinyes. She was sometimes called Adrasteia, probably meaning "one from whom there is no escape"; her epithet Erinys ("implacable") is specially applied to Demeter and the Phrygian mother goddess, Cybele.

June 9th: Asteroid Orpheus 3361 (@ 26 Pisces 410 is conjunct Uranus for some unexpected events involving death, underworld and mournful songs.

June 1st: Asteroid Hygeia (@ 1 Cancer 48) signfying health and pro-active healing is opposing Pluto the destroyer now retrograde.
Expect major news dealing with Swine Flu? or other epidemics

May 18th: Asteroid 1170 Siva Opposes Pluto. 1170 Siva is a Mars-crossing asteroid of eccentricity 0.2995045, named after Shiva, the Hindu Deity known as the Supreme One and the Destroyer. n the Mahabharata, Shiva is depicted as "the standard of invincibility, might, and terror", as well as a figure of honor, delight, and brilliance

May 14th: Pallas in Cancer (the politics of food) in contraparallel aspect to Uranus (unexpected actions regarding food)
Also Pallas will also be square both Mars and Venus later this month putting focus on blockage of sexual energies along with more destruction by militarys of the world attempting to dominate.

May 3rd: Circe 34 @ 26 Virgo - Circe the sorceress of legend is contraparallel (like oppositon) to Uranus
Are we seeing the unexpected use of poisons (virus) to change our population base? Notice that Circe was associated with turning Homer's men into swine...
In myth she was the Queen goddess ( a nymph, witch, enchantress or sorceress) living on the island of Aeaea.
Homer relates how Circe invited Odysseus' crew to a feast, the food laced with one of her magical potions, and she turned them all into pigs with a wand after they gorged themselves on it.

May 3rd: Uranian 30 @ 25 Leo Opposing Jupiter-Chiron this can lead to new discoveries along with insights involving both astronomy and astrology.
For Review: Urania 30 is named after Urania, the Greek Muse of astronomy and astrology.
Urania was depicted as having a globe in her left hand. She is able to foretell the future by the position of the stars. She is often associated with Universal Love and the Holy Spirit.

Asteroid Watch for April 2009

April 17th: Asteroid Pallas (now in Cancer) is parallel Mars (now in Pisces) as political strategy (Pallas) reflects emotional furor over patriotism and motivates actions both agressive and proactive.

April 17th: Pluto (now retrograde) in controlling Capricorn is Quincunx Vesta in communicative Gemini so dedication, convictions have to adjust to power plays by authority.

April 5th and 6th: Asteroids Ceres and Pallas changed signs respectively from Leo to Virgo and Gemini to Cancer to add a more serious and practical approach with nurturing and food with Ceres. With strategy, political justice having Pallas in a cardinal sign like Cancer will put major emphasis on security.

April 6th: Juno (relationships/partnerships of all kinds) is opposing Ceres (grains-food) as issues around food production, control and management.

As we enter 2009, a major grouping of planets ruled by Saturn and Uranus in the signs of Capricorn and Aquarius are making their prescence known. These are collective signs that can have mass reactions of millions of people unexpectedly and simultaneously.
