Ragas of Revelation sing forth in crescendos of sighs and elations..
like the drone of the sarod heard over tablas and violins.

Nature glorifies instincts that follow hidden direction:
To a tiny hummingbird, clad only in iridescent wings of citron,
this means navigation across a huge expanse of sky and sea.
Over mountains of great green trees
finally to arrive amid fountains of flowers
showering fragrance...Deep,Deep into the Sweet Jungle
where Mother dispenses care and dispels cold fear.

Echoing thru the forest, the clash of two stags locked
in mortal embrace is reverberated.
another addition to the Symphony of Black Isis...
Lightening flashes in this mountainous clearing.
The Crack/Snap of a huge cedar tree - the Fortissimo
A hideous aspect of Nature as she really is!
No ethereal images here.
The howl of the Wolf under a luminous orb spreading shadows of decay.
This is where the Screech Owl builds her nest - a primitive land.
For an instant the near quiet of crickets and fireflies
a sudden shift to Pianissimo:
traveling to the past mystery of the Swan-Maidens,
in a chorus of the corporeal intelligence, so Vernal, so Sweet is Aphrodite, is Venus.
Corn and wheat grow,are cut and sacrificed
then Persephone is born in blessed renewal.

The drums pound in counter-point to my heart’s renderings.
Lest vertical polarity be confused with horizontal urges - Venus/Astarte speaks:
“All is Sound, All Around.”
Even in those ages of silent devotion and secret worship of the Feminine Wisdom.
Yes, even then the Goddess was never truly mute!
She will no longer be buried underfoot
or swallowed up by Warrior Gods clothed in wrath,
adorned by false patriarchy and wielding petty pretense.
We can hear cries of the Black Madonna!
Sweet Shekinah, I see your face in the wilderness...
the beauty of Innana’s return from the Underworld is more than a choice,
