Out into the still air just before sunset I hurl myself.
Breathing in step with my furious longing – a being is unleashed from my chest.
Filling my lungs with oxygen in the golden shadows
Moving my body toward my soul's delight.
Her face floats across my eyes

Am I caught in a nuero-chemical reaction, blinded by endorphins?
Is this true spiritual ecstasy?
Or am I lost in kinetic daydream?

Just when I feel confident that I know God...
Just when I think I know God’s motion…then
He orchestrates a symphony of surprises
Just when I think I know God and His motivations
She brings everything, everyone and every thought inside out.
One moment like a glint of light in God's eye brings an eternity to my spirit
And the feminine deity covers the sky,
It is Nuit, the Egyptian Star Goddess.
She is the Goddess who uses "Starry Galaxies" for eyeliners and dark stars for Mascara

I continue
Up the hill surrounded by the scent of lilacs and jasmine
I can feel the strength of the Olive tree and the endurance of the Oak
The dirt beneath my feet moves to meet my steps.
rhythms and internal sounds push me onward

Running to catch my heart's delight at the end of May
I quickly approach the beginning of June and sadness and Joy intermingle.
Life goes on with my nostrils lifting and my eyes suddenly wide open.
As the moon begins to rise my legs jut forward with a final intensity.
In a few moments I will be still with my heart still pounding
and opening to the true joy of living.
